Is there any Flash player for Mozilla Firefox instead of Shockwave Flash plugin?

To answer the question asked: There are alternative players on linux, libflash-mozplugin for one, but not on Windows so far as I know.

if you're running linux, there is gnash, the FSF endorsed flash player.
