I have a TP-Link TL-WR1043ND router, running openwrt.
Can I connect a Wireless USB Adapter to its an USB connector and and use that as the wireless router, instead of the wireless capabilities of the router itself?

I want to achieve AC speeds instead of N.

No; You won't be able to do that. –  Ramhound Apr 3 '14 at 14:48
