Since today, and I do not know why (I just rebooted), my USB disks are being mounted by KDE in /media/myname/label (e.g. /media/myname/backup ) instead of /media/label (e.g. /media/backup/ which obviously breaks all my scripts.

How can I revert back to normal behaviour?

You probably updated systemd/udev ? – seqizz Apr 4 '14 at 13:44

I'm not asking "why it happens" but "how to undo it". Des-updating packages and its dependencies is not an option. – Envite Apr 4 '14 at 18:15
