When I start the default Ubuntu terminal, it automatically puts the new terminal in a spot on the screen where no other terminals are there.

Now I set terminator as my default terminal. But whenever I start it, it just starts in the same place all the time, which makes me need to move it by hand.

Is there a way to make terminator become as smart the default terminal?
