I found this thread: noVNC over SSL, and it helped me a lot. But I am getting an error message.

You see my issue is that I get a session to the SSL interface but I get an error stating: unsupported security type 18. I think websockify, which is the proxy that maps VNC server to SSL, works ok. I say this because I get a similar error message when I use the tightvnc client to connect.

I do have some logs in the .vnc folder, which I really do not understand. Can anyone help me? I have searched online, and do not find any relevant information. I’ll gladly post the logs; there is about 2 pages worth of logs in the .vnc folder.

I am not sure if there is any in the /var/log folder. I did not see a relevant file name, that would imply storage for vnc logs. If you know of any, please let me know.
