I have window server 2008 installed.
Inside that ihave installed ubuntu using VMware
Now i want that ubuntu should always have local ip of 10.0.11.5.
How can i configue that.
I am using Netgear router and i have not found any option in there

This question came from our site for professional system and network administrators.
You can remove the rc.networking or change the permissions to make it non-executable or rename it so that the boot process cannot find the rc.network. You can put this into rc.local which is the script that loads when the boot up has finished.
