Is it possible to sync Chrome History between 2 devices via the same Google login, without causing great confusion? And without causing this mess in "History"?

This explains not particularly much.

I am logged in via the same Google login on my laptop and on my desktop. Right now I have turned history sync off from my desktop and on my laptop. Because I do not want it mixed together in the "History". But I would like to have my history is saved on my Google Accounts independently. Can I do that some way?

Don't quite know what Google is thinking of in this particularly case, because I think all the history is a mess when just putting them together, without easily knowing where it comes from (the laptop or the workstation).

Hope you guys understand what I mean.

Also running on "Google Groups"
