Does anyone know of a way to add a single page of interest to google reader? I'd like to use it to make a note of stuff I want to come back and read later. However the only way I can see at present is to add the entire website's RSS feed to my subscriptions.

Just wondering if anyone knew of a cunning way to do this.

Cheers.

Coops.

Google Reader has a "Note in Reader" bookmarklet that adds a single page to your Reader's "Shared Items" feed:

Have you ever wanted to share something that you were reading, but you didn't want to go through the hassle of subscribing to a whole feed for a single interesting article? And what about sharing content from sites with no feeds? There you are, reading along, and you think to yourself, "If only everything on the web had a 'Share' button like in Google Reader!"

A workaround I use is make use of Instapaper to mark it as "Read it later". In addition, I have subscribed to my unread articles in Google Reader, so whenever I mark a page as "Read it later", it goes to my unread articles in Instapaper, which inturn goes to my Google Reader subscription of Unread articles.

Bookmark the page with an online bookmarking service that offers RSS (e.g. delicious), and subscribe to the RSS feed.

You'll only see in the Reader the link to the content and whatever you put into the notes field, but it will be there.

The delicious feed will be public so this solution might not suit everyone.
