It's just trying to tell you that you bought some useless, overpriced software from a company that could not possibly care less about supporting Mac users. – Hasaan Chop Apr 5 '10 at 7:07

Simple solution; you don't have a "Virex" group. Go into System Preferences, Accounts, unlock the dialog, click the plus, and select "Group" from the drop down. Name it "Virex".

Are you sure masking the issue is the best course of action? – Phoshi Dec 17 '09 at 15:03
The issue is "there is no group"; I'm not sure it's being masked here? – crb Dec 17 '09 at 19:08
I think Phoshi is getting at the fact that McAfee isn't/wasn't installed properly. Although, to be honest, I don't know why you'd want to install it! :-) – Steve Folly Jan 17 '10 at 23:35
