Possible Duplicate:
Free DVD recorder

My sister needs a good (free) software to burn a DVD, she ripped an original DVD so it contains the usual .VOB, .BUP and .IFO file(s).

I'm not aware what software she used to rip the DVD, because I know DVDshrink for instance automatically burns it.

So is there any software that's user friendly and burns simple Video DVD's?

Edit: the problem with normal burning software and trying to make playable DVD's is that they can't just put the files on a DVD (they already tried it that way). They have to create the folders for AUDIO and VIDEO, if they don't do it the DVD player won't know where to look.

I know Nero has a great interface for doing this, but it isn't free. But the suggestions are still welcome.

Windows? Linux? OSX? Something else? – Richard Jul 19 '09 at 13:14
Errm, software that burns dvds without costing money? (what's) :P – Aiden Bell Jul 19 '09 at 13:26
Windows would be preferred, but sometimes it helps not limiting these questions to one OS – Ivo Flipse Jul 19 '09 at 13:34
Should be CW I think. – Simon P Stevens Jul 19 '09 at 15:52
The problem with most of the suggestions is that they aren't user friendly enough for more newbie users – Ivo Flipse Jul 20 '09 at 11:44

Lots of references at the BurnWorld.
But, download and use with care (any binary you get online).

I typically use ImgBurn.

DVDShrink can be used to open files ripped by another program. I've always used DVD Decrypter to rip my DVDs. I use ImgBurn with DVDShrink 3.2 to actually burn the disc.

If you are happy to convert it to a single file you can use handbrake, then burn the file to a disk with something like nero,

There are also applications like Roxio's popcorn on the mac, Roxio Crunch on windows which should keep it as a "dvd".

This is assuming that it is not something that is breaking copyright of course.
