Is there a URL to go directly to the classic Google page?

Somehow my last browser update broke my search function and I don't want to wait for all my iGoogle stuff to load just to search for something.

www.google.com/ncr should be enough.

superuser.com/questions/6241/… (no country redirect) I had to figure out what ncr meant or else I'd never remember it. – Peter Turner Dec 21 '09 at 22:47

It probably stands for “No Country Redirect". – Mehper C. Palavuzlar Dec 21 '09 at 22:47

This should do the trick:

http://www.google.com/url?sa=p&pref=ig&pval=1&q=/

Also,

http://google.com/default

Is a lot easier to type, but isn't the standard Google homepage

google.com/default gets rid of that silly fade-in ! huzzah! – bobobobo Mar 8 '10 at 22:15

I guess http://www.google.com/webhp is one. I don't think I want to ever type that though.

Lots of wrong answers above. The only one that works I found was:

http://www.google.com/url?sa=p&pref=ig&pval=1&q=/

and it persistently changes your home page to be classic, not iGoogle. What we want is a URL that goes to classic view, without changing the default view for all future visits (or we could have just done that in our iGoogle preferences, couldn't we?)

Please, Google. Give us a URL for this.
