Just wondering, are there any good real-time editors that are browser-based? I'm aware that Etherpad is now open-sourced, but I'm just wondering if anyone has any other suggestions.

Guess you can't wait for Google Wave? – Ivo Flipse Dec 22 '09 at 20:09
Oh, I have Google Wave and it's definitely not what I'm looking for :) – rfw Dec 22 '09 at 20:36

although you really need to define a little better what is it you're looking for ... – ldigas Dec 22 '09 at 21:57

That's not a req. You have to say what you find wrong with Eth.Pad, for use to start thinking of an alternative. This is like saying, I'm looking for something like coffee, but not coffee. – ldigas Dec 22 '09 at 23:07

Mozilla Bespin is pretty nice. You can find the source here.

Ah yes, I've seen and tried that, but in my experience it was pretty laggy and clunky. Also, it's HTML5 so it's not that widely supported (feel free to correct me) yet. – rfw Dec 22 '09 at 20:25
