I could be wrong here, but I keep seeing references in the source code to Social Engine, so I think they may have used that as the base.

A quick google search for a snippet of source code finds a modding website for that CMS, so this seems likely. – Macha Dec 27 '09 at 16:34

they are using custom programming not a pre made CMS

This is obviously so wrong that I have to downvote it. Waiseh interface is highly polished; usually this can only come from a mature and popular website such as facebook or come from an off-the-shelf component. – Graviton Dec 28 '09 at 2:26
