Does anyone know a better PostScript reader than GhostView? GhostView is old and commercial. I don't like it at all.

Evince is the default doc reader in gnome. works great and is GNU Public license (v2). – DaveParillo Jan 1 '10 at 3:30
Oh, sorry, I forgot to mention I was looking for a reader for Windows! – Peteris Krumins Jan 2 '10 at 15:28

Then when you click the Download link on the Evince webpage, you should probably choose the one labelled "Windows Installer". – Ken Jan 4 '10 at 20:55
I downloaded Evince 2.28 for Windows, but it doesn't open .ps files. live.gnome.org/Evince/SupportedDocumentFormats says support should be built in. Does it work for you? – Alexey Romanov Feb 24 '10 at 20:55
It seems I'll have to wait for 2.30: bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=596402 – Alexey Romanov Feb 24 '10 at 21:02
