I'm trying to create a presentation based on some screen recordings I've done with CamStudio with a resolution of 1280x1024. If i import these clips into iMovie HD (6.0.3) and export the movie as QuickTime with maximum quality and no filters I get a smoothed video where no small details are visible any more.

Is there a way to import a high resolution video to iMovie and export it with the same quality?

They are avi files. 1280x1024, 200 frames/s, 2364 kBit/s, 16 Bit, Encoding: MS-CRAM. – tangens Jan 5 '10 at 16:42
