I have just installed 64bit version of Vista on my PC and it keeps giving me this "File corrupt, please run chkdsk" dialog. I have run chkdsk twice now, but it makes no difference.

I have also run hardware diagnostic tests and it seems that the hardware is OK.

What could be causing this error?

I have run a 32bit version of Vista on this machine for over a year and there has never been a problem.

Anyone have any ideas how to fix this?

chrome.exe and after that the iso viewer I tried to install. It seems to have started after installing Chrome. – Tony Jan 7 '10 at 23:47
