ClipX alternative?

Question

Is there any ClipX alternative that you recommend? I am looking for one because unfortunately ClipX hangs up a lot (on my system anyway). Any suggestions?

It was my question originally on stackoverflow. I found the perfect solution for me:

DITTO

It has everything ClipX was lacking for me. It looks stable (I am using it for 2 days now) and is highly configurable. It is just much better ClipX.

I use ClipX heavily, and after some tweaks, it doesnt give me any problems anymore.

I set it to ignore bitmaps and filelists Installed Limits plugin, and set it to ignore text clipboards over 5000 characters

with that, it easily remmbers last 1024 entries, without any hanging problems

... i also use Smart Navigation plugin, alnog with quick-and-dity app to copy parameter back into clipboard, to set up some quick reg-ex transformations for stings i often deal with ...

CLCL is good, but doesn't get the attention it deserves.

I have found something like this: http://www.clipmagic.com/ but it looks way to heavy.

ClipMate is really good. I tried all the free ones before deciding it was worth paying for something this good.
