Other than httpMail that has been discontinued and causes me some annoyances such as regularly forgetting its password?

The pop adress for hotmail is pop.live.com.

First of all Launch Apple mail >>> Then type you name where it asks you to Then where it asks you to Put your email address Enter in in this format

Example@live.com Example@hotmail.com

And then put in your password Then click Continue and on the next page enter this info

Account Type : POP Description : Windows Live Incoming Mail Server : pop3.live.com Username : Example@live.com Example@hotmail.com Password : Put your password Here

Then Click the Continue Button >>> Then on the next page enter this info

Description : Windows Live Outgoing Mail Server : smtp.live.com Click the “Use Authentication” Box Username : Example@live.com Example@hotmail.com Password : Put your password Here

Click Continue and your done After that click the get mail button and all will work.

I'm not sure you even need to do all that, I've logged into hotmail directly from mail using just the regular account setup - typed the hotmail address in and pwd and Mail did the rest.

I am using Mail 4.3. It is intelligent enough to figure out the crud details, such as the POP/SMTP host addresses, from merely the email address. As alimack has mentioned, simply add a new account, provide your email address and password, and let Mail.app configure the rest of the stuff for you. Nothing else to it.
