So I've tried the Windows 7 SuperBar in Production for 2 months, and I car surely say that I don't like it, it slows me down a LOT.
So I've tweaked it by enabling small icons and never combine them, but it is still a step back from vista:
- New items don't open at the end of the tasks if they belong to an open program. Open an Explorer Window, open another program, then open another explorer window - it will be put in the middle, before the other program
- The icons are not equally sized. Due to the grouping, the whole layout is asymmetric (My Taskbar is 2 rows high) which not only looks annoying, but can make finding a window harder
- All related icons light up. If you have 8 open explorer windows and hover over one, the whole taskbar lights up like a Christmas tree.
Is there any way to get the Vista behavior back, which means removing the "Related Windows belong together" nonsense?
