Hi all

I have some live system screens that I occasionally need to remote manage, running Ubuntu. Is it possible to lock input to the screens and display a message to the effect when I'm remoting in?

If not with Ubuntu's default software, then could you suggest some other solution?

Cheers

Gausie

I've looked around for something like this before, but never found a good solution. The best I could do was to setup a VNC server that doesn't have a monitor attached to it, but then you can't see the existing desktop. MS's remote desktop is hands down better than any solution on linux, this is sadly one the the things that's never had much effort put into on the open source side. – teeks99 Jan 14 at 18:54
