This issue bugs me so bad! I can do it manually, however I will not be satisfied unless it's perfect (which is doubtful considering I'm doing it manually).

Ideal brightness and contrast value in LCD monitor?
I'm using 19 inch LCD monitor. The distance between me and monitor is around 80 cm.
For this distance, what is the value of brightness and contrast for normal eye sight?
