Comcast Speed test slower performance on the IPv4 test than on the IPv6 Test

I have two computers. On one I get the same performance result for both IPv4 and IPv6. On the other I get slower (about 50%) on IPv4 than on IPv6. Why? Is there a config to change it?

Are IPv4 and IPv6 incompatible? Can they be perceived as 2 different internet layer protocols? If yes, what are the significant differences which make them incompatible?
