Does increasing the number of cores result in the increase in the number of interrupts that can be handled by that processor ?
If i replace a single-core processor with a dual-core processor, Will it increase the throughput by two times ? If No, why throughput does not get doubled ?
What i meant was, in a multicore system with 'n' number of cpu's, will each cpu have its own linux kernel installed, or will all cpu's have a copy of the same kernel image? Another question ...
