You'll have to add the .inc extension to MMDocumentTypes.xml. You haven't indicated what version of Dreamweaver you're using, or your operating system, so I'll have to guess Windows is your OS from your other questions. On Windows 7 and Vista, the file is located at: C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Adobe Dreamweaver ...

It's been a while since I used Dreamweaver (defected to Expression Web) but from my understanding there is no pre-set shortcut(s) for commenting code. You may be able to tie you're own to one via Edit > Keyboard Shortcuts > Snippets > Comments > (Comment Single Line or Comment Multi Line). I'm not sure if there's a way to have it remove them. Info found ...

As others have said, the line of code you highlighted: <td align="center" align="134" class="footer" valign="bottom"> has the align attribute set twice. The second (134) isn't a valid value for align. Outside that, though, you've actually got a number of other problems: you're using the tags <forwardtoafriend>, <unsubscribe>, ...

CTRL+D in Notepad++ just means "Duplicate current line". I don't believe there's an equivalent in DW. Perhaps use Autohotkey (or alike) to create a macro that moves to the start of the line, then selects to the end of the line, then inserts a blank line below, and then inserts your copied line. Then bind that to CTRL+D (or whatever). Also, you probably ...

There are 2 things which may help, depending on your situation Code view is updated automatically when you make changes in Design view. However, after making changes in Code view, you must manually update the document in Design view by clicking in Design view or pressing F5. And on the same page (source below) Refresh Design View Updates the ...

This isn't a "Finder thing." It's an application thing. Unless they are using some sort of Finder hook to display files. Here is the answer I received from Panic: Hey Josh, It's more of a Mac OS X convention than the Finder prohibiting us from doing something. It's something we're investigating for the future. For example, Transmit and ...

You're better off running Find & Replace twice, because you have two different replacements happening. However, there should be very little tradeoff in processing time. Consider the following: Running Find & Replace once, searching term by term: Get Term Does term match? If so, replace term Get Next Term ... For running purposes, we'll ...

When you check out a file with Dreamweaver, it creates a lock file on the remote server which is just a text file with an LCK extension containing the name and email of the person who checked the file out. For example, if I check out the file test.txt, a test.txt.LCK file will be placed on the remote server with the following text as its content: Adam ...

TortoiseSVN is not a Subversion server - it's just a client. You need to have a Subversion server to connect to with Dreamweaver. If you are using Windows, VisualSVN Standard Edition is free to use. If you do not have a separate machine to use as a server, you can use a virtual machine. You may be able to run the server on the same machine, but I have ...

Dreamweaver CS5/Mac is pretty darn flexible; it's really a question of what it is exactly that you're trying to do. The Application Bar can be turned off (and on again) by choosing Window > Application Bar. If you have multiple documents you want to combine into a single tabbed window, choose Window > Combine as Tabs. The panels are a little trickier, ...

You need to record the emails into a database, then you can send the emails within a loop to each user. For example: $sql = "select email from table"; while($row=mysql_fetch_array($sql)) { $email=$row['emailid']; $to = $email; $subject = "E-mail subject"; $body = "E-mail body"; $headers = ...

If I understand your setup correctly, you put/setup a second NIC in one of your servers on the fancy connection that connects to your office LAN. The dual homed server acts as your high speed gateway to the rest of your servers through ssh tunneling. If all of this is correct I would try the following. Install putty on your Windows VMs and setup a ...

It looks to me like a inactive scroll bar that got drawn in the wrong place. I'd wager it is a bug in dreamweaver. Try closing the program and re-opening it. If it persists, it could be related to the "code view" settings. You might want to toggle settings like "word wrap" as explained at Adobe Dreamweaver CS5 on Demand: Viewing the HTML Behind the Page

That's not possible. Just in Adobe Photoshop you can change the Work space Color. Dreamweaver CS6/CC Work space Color Scheme it doesn't has available in the "preferences" area and don't has the "interface" option. Example: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=np9j88df5gA Or If you use Adobe at night use this for the brightness: ...

Error 6 appears to be a very generic term in that people have resolved it in many different ways. These have included Reformat the hard drive. I hope this isn't necessary but, depending on your situation, it may be a "quick" fix. Source An issue with the license (not found/recognized/valid/expired etc). You could try and reset it. As per your post, ...

I would use Nirsoft ShellMenuView - Should be able to remove it no problem! However, I have not ever tested uninstalling after - so you may want to backup just in case, but I can't imagine there being a problem. I use this tool a lot.

You could try doing a search and replace for all 'onClick' to 'onclick' in dreamweavers configuration folder. Here's a person who did it and had some luck. An aside I would recommend taking the time to learn Vim. Your output might be lacking slightly for a month but if you use it consistently you will overcome it in no time! (speaking from experience)

Firstly, if you are running a pirate copy, no one can really help you. I once spent close to an hour trying to help someone and it turned out to be his dodgy copy that was the reason for the failure. Some cracks edit some resource files causing errors or problems that may manifest at a later date (update, time bomb or anything). I mean no insult by the ...

My designer.xml file crashed beyond repair, and wouldn't start DW without crashing even after deleting it. It never created a new version of the file. The following are the steps I took to solve the issue for Mac OS X, Dreamweaver CS5. You need to use the Styles panel to preview a color (Window | Styles). With the Panel open, click on the element in design or code view and all colors declared will show under the "Properties" bar in that Panel. You can also invoke the color picker by doing Edit | Code Hint Tools | Color Picker

IF the end users have Dreamweaver then they will be pretty much able to do anything. The template functionality becomes far more useful when you give un-privileged users Contribute instead of Dreamweaver. You combine this with the Contribute Publishing Services, and you can provide access control. For page creation and editing.

Dreamweaver has code formatting built into it. Check Commands > Clean Up HTML, and/or it may be Commands > Apply Source Formatting. I'm not sure which off-hand as I don't have a copy of CS5 in front of me to check. :) More information is available in the Help files at help.adobe.com. Specifically Dreamweaver / Optimizing and debugging code.

Using Code Inspector may not help as it echoes the same code content of the code view. You could double+click another code file (could be a css, js or a php) in the File Window/panel. The file will be loaded in a separate code window. Now got to Window and choose Tile Horizontally or Vertically/

Adobe has taken care of this issue..... under the files panel (for dreamweaver) there are several different ways to organize your files, for mine CS 5.5 the options to file are name, size, type, and date modified. simply click on those methods to file and it will change the order. itunes has this same way of changing how you view/organize your files.

Dreamweaver can create a cache file in which to store information about all the links in your local folder. This cache file is updated invisibly as you add, change or delete links on your local site. This can have as effect the extreme slow-down of file copy operations. To disable, use the Edit > Preference menu to bring up the Preferences Dialog. In the ...

If you need to replace this everywhere, unless I am missing something, there is no need to use Regular Expressions, simply do a regular replace and put $_POST['whatever']; as the find and gpost('whatever'); as the replace.
