About

Filesize is the measure of size of computer . It is measured in bytes. The actual disk space consumption is dependent on . Some common filesize units with their conversion factors are:

  • 1 byte = 8 bits
  • 1 KiB = 1,024 bytes
  • 1 MiB = 1,048,576 bytes

Some filesystems have an upper limit to the maximum size a file can have. For eg., in file system, a file can not come equal to or exceed the mark of 4 GiB.

NOTE
