comment How to clean a keyboard
i do this regularly with my saitek cyborg keyboard. and my logitech wave. it's the best way to do it - and soaking the keys in a (very mild) warm soapy water solution cleans them really well, although they key labels may start to rub off if theres too much soap or it's too hot. prying up the keys without damaging them takes practice and patience though.

comment What's the logic behind the “W” in Control+W to close a Tab in IE?
in firefox on Mac, command+w closes the tab, command+shift+w closes the window. something to note here, in alot of cases in Mac, keystrokes are not always consistent across applications - for instance home and end generally don't work unless the application specifically accommodates them. I don't believe you can 'steal' a keystroke.
