comment Problems with screen in Windows 7? Graphics gets stuck
It works for me. If it matters, I do have turned on to make a visual animated ring to point out where the mouse pointer is located when I hit the [Ctrl] button. Maybe this effect also refreshes the screen so the stuck item is removed.

comment Which network connection is used if connect using multiple interfaces
You say "Windows usually defaults to the link with the highest speed", but is it some way to check which connection is actually used at a given time?

comment Is it possible to copy a set of files, but automatically skip if file already exists?
@deed02392: Although I like your solution, in my case the batch job will be started as a scheduled task, and it would be tricky to get the physical setup to happen automatically at a scheduled time. It would have to be a robot doing it perhaps.

comment How do I open a remote desktop session on a secondary monitor?
See JMD's comment on Ivan's answer. The format should be winposstr:s:0,1,xpos,ypos,xpos+width,ypos+height. This worked perfect for me.

comment How can I replace red in an image with a certain shade of gray?
There is a related question on Graphic Design. You might find that useful. If it doesn't quite fit what you need, you can post a question there yourself. You will most likely find more experts on this topic over there.

comment How can I paste space-formatted tables in Lync without losing the formatting?
Seems like Lynch tries to be smart, and doesn't let people choose how pasting should work. See this for example on how Lynch preserve too much of the original copy...

comment How can I paste text without format in a lync chat window?
Seems this is the only option. I would prefer this to be an option in Lynch though... Both as a global option to use source text styles, and as a local function to paste as plain text directly in the chat window.

comment Is the performance of a CPU affected as it ages?
This is interesting that you say your Mac performs better now than before. This indicates that software developers for Mac concentrates on improving performance to be able to get more out of the machine force, while PC developers for Windows just use the improved hardware power to make more fancy programs without thinking too much on performance. This is probably why a PC tends to slow down over time - not because the hardware degrades, but because the software demands more of the hardware...

comment Change the volume serial number on a VM hard drive
@Mark: No it was the volume ID I was asking for. It is sometimes called Volume Serial Number (example: dir C: in dos prompt). I guess you are thinking of the physical serial number of the hard disk, but this is not what I need.
