comment Toshiba Satellite E45t Stuck on Initial Splash Screen
Is there a way to determine if it's the CPU or the motherboard?

I have already tried the memory cards combinations, with same results. No optical drives here. I'll try the miniPCIe cards.

Have you managed to fix this issue? I'm experiencing a similar behavior on a different model.

comment How to connect more usb devices to a laptop?
@Nikita If your hubs are powered externally and you still have this issue, you need to rephrase the question to reflect a good description of the correct setup.

comment What Windows 8.1 (x64) / Linux SSD/HDD setup should I use?
I think you should first narrow down your desires because there are numerous good possibilities and preferences here. The one thing I do recommend is to share that media partition among your systems, regardless of the configuration.

What are you trying to achieve? Why the 2 different OSs? Are these on the same machine? Are you using virtualization? Have you considered backup? Sharing files between the systems could be very useful, especially for documents and media.

comment How to tell in linux when new USB devices are found?
@nullUser That is a good question. I have not tried the situation with two of the same devices, therefore I don't have an answer for you. As for the rule number, no, it doesn't have to be 85.

What was your original configuration? Which partitions contain the data you need to recover? Can you see those partitions from Linux?

How and where do you search for these lost emails? Did you create any filters? Are these emails treated as spam?

comment How can I queue a script to run the next time a system is up and connected to the internet?
I'm a little confused with the situation. What happens if you send and the system is not connected? Doesn't it get queued? And sent upon connection? Do you exit your application and can only send if application is running?

You might have to use an image manipulation application to alter the screenshots to your needs.

comment Is rm reversible?
Not really the answer I was looking for. I know how to recover deleted files that way. I am more interested if rm has a "simple" way to be reversed.

comment Trouble with indexes in LibreOffice Writer
So you went through all the settings available for Index/Columns and couldn't see any changes? Try switching back to single column and then back to 2. Also, try removing the Index and re-adding it. I have tested the spacing on LO version 4.1.5.3 on Fedora and it works fine. Try upgrading.

Have you tried adjusting the spacing between the columns? Go to Edit Index/Table -> Columns and adjust the Spacing.

With these requirements in mind, why don't you write a script to do that for you?
