comment Left click not working on touchpad or mouse
The OP says they still have the problem in Ubuntu, how is uninstalling the driver on Windows going to help??

comment resolving “there was a pr◌blem sending a command to the program”
That is almost certainly a file permissions issue then. Windows reading NTFS is picky (for security reasons!) about who owns what, and if Ubuntu isn't configured to use the same security credentials it's probably wrecking the defaults your Windows installation is expecting to see.

This is typically an Office problem, not actually Windows. I suggest reinstalling Office if you can, and making sure you're on the latest patches. What version are you running? It could also be file-permission related, thanks to your your dual-boot business.

comment Why does using two-finger scroll on the Windows 8.1 start menu result in a click on the center of the screen?
Extra information: the good driver was 11.7.85, in spite of there being newer versions, and I had to do the install process twice through the device manager - once on AC and once on battery (super weird).

Does this mean your password is now stored in plaintext in the registry? Hmm.

comment Handbrake output directory to include Title folder
I have exactly the same problem as you - I ended up getting the Handbrake UI to crash because it kept adding multiple copies of the "source" tag until the filename was too long for Windows' directory structure rules.

comment How to disable Acrobat Reader's “Click-Scroll-Feature”?
This "feature" has been driving me bananas for years now and I've somehow never managed to find the option to turn it off until you posted this here. Thank you!
