It’s a bitmap font, so it’s normal that it looks different when used in several sizes (bitmaps don’t match).

It doesn't have to be that way. Personally I've never seen that shitty rendering, but I don't know if that is because I always tweak my OS's a lot.

@horsedrowner That’s because it’s not possible to turn off ClearType for certain parts of Windows Vista+. For example, ClearType is always enabled in IE, Windows Explorer and Aero.

I’m inclined to believe the LTT file is like a ZIP archive, that contains various font files embedded into one. So, is there a way to ‘unpack’ the linked font files included inside the LTT? I suppose no, because it is a proprietary tecnology. Thanks for the links.
