Maximize windows @elhoim - thats why i said: xinerama / twinview / bigdesktop. in that order. twinview and bigdesktop are just variants of xinerama. |

I would like to pipe output of find into input list of scp, how? lets just assume he knows how to use ssh-keys :) the problem with 1000 password questions is also the reason for the tar-approach |

Microsoft Security Essentials: How to Disable the 'Real Time Protection Is Off' Warning? then m$ should provide a "disable for 5 minutes" button. that would be ok. but not this "yeah, you will disable it but we keep you bugged and bugged and bugged about this till you switch it backon" |

Microsoft Security Essentials: How to Disable the 'Real Time Protection Is Off' Warning? well, the point is: i want to see the trayicon of all the processes which run. and i want (on reasonable events) be informed that something is wrong: i turned of mse rtp because i dont want it, so this warning is pointless. (for me :) |

Image Classification - Detecting an image is cartoon-like "cartoons should generally have fewer than photos" .. not always true, think of color gradients. i would try to use an edge-detecor (google sobel, laplace etc) .. and then use that information to decide, if its a cartoon or not. real life pictures tend to have much more noise in such 'edge pictures' en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sobel_operator |

Snow Leopard doesn't like dnsmasq? @tom.dunham: pinging host.local works on the laptop if it is in the same network as the workstation. |

Snow Leopard doesn't like dnsmasq? @tom.dunham: is your laptop in a different network than your workstation? it looks like apple uses 'bonjour' to resolve '.local' domains .. and if that should work you would need multicast-routing in your router to work across different networks... |

Snow Leopard doesn't like dnsmasq? i am running obsd4.3 with dnsmasq2.40, snow leopard seems to request 'host.local.local' if using 'ping host.local'. using 'ping host' seems to trigger nothing in dnsmasq. |
