comment How can I use vlookup for one value and return multiple corresponding values in excel 2013
Where do you want these results to show? What does the desired outcome look like?

yes, that's the idea.

You don't need to do that. You can add the empty data values to the end of the source table. It only needs to be somewhere in the data source, not slotted in perfectly.

Your data is not clear. Your question is not clear. Where is "our iteration" data? Where is "main problem" data? What does "Constraint number" mean?

comment Fill Effect Gradient, greyed out options
I think so. I went through a few other dialogs for gradients, but they all use the new (in Excel 2010) dialog. In 2013 it's different again.

comment When try to open word/excel 2007, I am always getting Microsoft office enterprise 2007 configuration progress pop up. How to get rid of this
Enter the same registry entry in the path for Word 2013. Exchange the 12.0 with 15.0 to set the 2013 value.

comment Automatically Updating a cell in Excel from another sheet's data, based on another cell's value
So, the roster on Sheet2 has the names in it? Are the names on the left of the roster table? Then you can use the Vlookup formula. If you need more help, edit the question with a better description of your data.

comment Want to use dates as headers in a table but need two instances of the same date
Yes, keep product information in a product catalogue table and enter the sales data into a table with one row per transaction. You can use lookup formulas to pull data into the sales table if required.

Does every project finish on the day it started? Or do you need to calculate a time difference in days, weeks, months?

What is "follow through" in your world? Describe the workbook structure and describe in words what you would like to calculate.

What do you mean? The second formula DOES do it without a helper column. Did you not read the answer?

comment Print preview doesn't work properly in Excel 2010
If you don't have a printer installed, Excel will use some default printer settings to try and render the file in print preview. If you install a printer driver for a printer that will most likely be used to print the file on another computer, then install that printer driver for a more accurate print preview.

Even if you don't have that printer connected, install the printer driver.

comment Trouble using Excel OFFSET function
+1 -- it's easier and saves much, much time and headache down the line to use proper data architecture (raw data in one sheet, reporting in other sheets), than to develop and maintain functionality to coax information out of bad data architecture.

comment Toggled Hyperlink with If:Then formula
Just use the hyperlink cell style. You can then use conditional formatting to remove the color and underline when the cell shows '(NOT IN USE)'. Excel does not apply the hyperlink formatting unless it recognizes that the cell contains a hyperlink. Nesting the Hyperlink() function within an IF() function obscures this recognition.

I said that this code is based on your screenshot data sample and that you need to adjust it.

comment How to get excel to auto-outline hierarchy into groups?
If you don't want to subtotal any numbers, that is, if you want the grouping just so you can collapse certain sections, then you need to apply the grouping manually. The grouping function is severely lacking, IMHO. Maybe Excel is not the right tool for what you would like to achieve.

comment Excel: how do I insert changing cell values in my sum?
Please post a screenshot or a sample file and mock up a few scenarios. Your explanation is hard to grasp. What does where A1 is x mean, especially since you say that A1 is always 0.8?
