IRO-bot is a PhD student doing research in momentum and energy transfer accross the air-sea interface using high-resolution numerical models of atmosphere and ocean circulation, and ocean surface waves. Interests include geophysical modeling in general, numerical methods for solving PDEs, high-performance and parallel computing.
Most programming experience include Fortran with parallel execution using MPI standard. Using Python for analysis and visualization. Everyday dealing with bash scripting, UNIX tools and a tiny bit of html and JavaScript.
