Why is Solaris big endian @Ramhoud Essentially, yes. BUt your dates are a bit off. The original Unix was developed in 1969, on hardware released in 1965, so closer to 50 years ago then 20. |

How to see which file Dropbox is currently uploading/downloading? On the Mac, it changes the icon of the folders and files as they are being synced. Not sure if this is true for Windows as well. |

Force application on Mac to only use Airport connection This is probably what the user needs. BUt there is an important point, this only works if the destination address is unique for the airport application. If it is connecting to the same server as something that needs to go over ethernet, than this won't work. |

Will the Java 7 JRE be pushed out as an automatic update to people running the Java 6 JRE? I think this depends on the OS. Microsoft can do it differently that Apple, and all of the different Linux distributions have their own policies. |

Removing Java from OS X Lion @William: Looking into it, it appears that it is now allowed by Apple, and both VMWare and Parallels are working on adding it. BUt as of now, neither support doing it. |
