comment Swapping Function (Fn) and Control (Ctrl) Keys on Lenovo ThinkPad W500
@Howiecamp, you wrote: "Not only that but I successfully used KeyTweak to map Fn to Ctrl and on a single-key basis it functioned identically; Windows did indeed see it."

@Howiecamp, so you can map FN+key to Ctrl+key and Ctrl+key to Fn+key? This is awesome as it is only a matter of doing remapping couple of dozens codes to have most everything working as desired. Could you share your solution?

comment I want to change DPI with ImageMagick without changing the actual byte-size of the image data
I needed to put -density 300 before input.png. I was converting PDFs. Thanks anyway.

no, it does not work with https. Accepted answer is fine and easier.

comment how to disable SendEnv variables set in ssh_config from ~/.ssh/config
Question is to have environment sane automatically. And btw su is not always installed. And you have to type in your password with su. Not useful. There are easier workarounds.

comment How can I view results of my cron jobs?
This is correct. One can use mail command to read messages from the command line. Or look at /var/spool/mail. But if you have installed postfix or other mailer than standard sendmail, another way to read messages is needed.

comment how to print a black/grayscale pdf in some chosen color
I found my question has been answered in another question but the other question was not generic enough to find so leaving my question to possibly catch searches: superuser.com/a/202978/111432

Amazing, exactly what I needed. It's creating a terribly big file as output but fixes my issue (original from scanner 962K, colorized 47M). But it works for the purpose of printing. @AlexanderTaubenkorb, thanks, perhaps issue with images is that color is not exactly black but grayscale.

I had similar desire (change colors) but for aesthetic reasons. Doing it with gimp didn't yield nice results (I lost text sharpness), maybe because of my inability to do it right. In any case it's cumbersome if you want to print multiple pages.
