comment How to get WYSIWYP (print what you see) in a web browser?
Mixed results thus far: ScreenshotCaptor works on Google Maps but doesn't on my trelloprinter.com result ... its author advises us to use a browser plugin, anyway ... I've tried [ScreenGrab (fixed)],(addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/screengrab-fix-version/…) which claims to grab the whole page but doesn't, and FireShot, which once again works on Google Maps but doesn't on trelloprinter.com.

It doesn't do a thing with Google Maps, either. The Capture and Print extension almost does what I want - all it lacks is a Select all feature.

Thanks, but this doesn't help for the website I tried it on (trelloprinter.com). I'm amazed how these people have the guts to write that "frustratingly, so many websites don't implement them" when they are a fundamentally broken approach to the problem they're trying to solve. Having separate stylesheets for printing means you failed user interface design 101, or never took it in the first place.

comment Why are Ethernet/MAC addresses needed?
The point is: not all computers have a unique IP address, sometimes you don't even want that, so that's a good argument for them having a separate LAN address, which is what a MAC address is.

wget has an option for that. Read the manual.

Yes, wget is great for that. To call it periodically, you could use AT.

comment How to prevent Teamviewer 6.0.9947 from starting with Windows?
This was at -1, but it is the actual answer to the question - TeamViewer does have an option 'Start TeamViewer with Windows' but deselecting that doesn't keep the TeamViewer service, which is fairly memory-hungry, from starting.

I doubt our opening statement. less is useless for reading PDFs, wherever you are.

comment How to do a bidirectional SSH connection on localhost?
Have your tried disabling group read access? Does ~postgres/.ssh have any configuration files? Do /etc/ssh/ssh_config or /ect/ssh/sshd_config contain anything special? It is possible to disable or limit access there.

comment Sudo and file permissions
@aelbaz: What do you mean by 'permissions will continue having regular file'? The effect of sudo /sbin/ifconfig (...) is to run the /sbin/ifconfig command as user root, who can do more with that command than a regular user can, not because of the permissions set on /sbin/ifconfig or because of the lines in the sudo configuration, but because of permissions set on other files that are used by /sbin/ifconfig.
