We write scientific instrument data acquistion and analysis programs. Have to be fast! Must be easy to use.
We write code at all levels from device drivers to SQL queries.
Wrote dynamic language called Explain in 1989 (still in use), roughly when Guido started working on Python. It is very similar!
I'm hoping IronPython/.Net4 will answer many needs.
