comment Are there any Windows operations that require a triple-click?
It's not just paragraphs in apps. Just about every single-line text entry widget that I've ever tried supports triple clicks to select all text in the widget. Works in in-place icon renames and everything. GNOME and KDE on Linux as well as Windows. Probably Mac too, but not sure on that.

comment Can someone explain RAID-0 in plain English?
+1 for being the one of only two people to actually point out that 2x drives = 2x drive loss, unless some sort of fault-tolerance is added.

comment Nvidia nforce's hardware raid on linux?
+1, excepting one thing: "If you need to verify, grab 'em straight from the source". If your package manager has software you need, don't install it from elsewhere. Mixing packaged software and unpackaged software is generally a very bad idea, unless you know what you're doing and can install to a safer location prefix than / or /usr.

comment What is the purpose of the WWW subdomain?
You'll be glad to know that they've "upgraded" their site address to "uk.rs-online.com/web/";. They did leave the title saying "Welcome to rswww.com" though ;D

@mgb: not an issue as far as you're concerned, is what you mean. Some of us care about doing things in elegant ways.

comment Screenshot utility for linux
Agreed. KSnapshot is easily the best tool out there. Not sure about the KDE4 version -- might be better or worse than the KDE3 version I last used.

comment What good free archivers are there?
-1, because you asked a question you could have googled, had reservations about certain solutions that you failed to mention, and then acted all prickly when Phoshi gave you a simple, helpful answer.
