I don't have any formal education on programming. I guess it is the passion that gets me started and keeps me going. Thanks everybody for sharing your knowledge. Don't worry, I am no critic. I see no wrong answer, only good and not so good answers. All are welcome to learn and to share.

comment Where are my passwords stored in browser?
It depends on your browser and OS. Different browsers implement it differently. One way is to store the password hash within an SQLite database located under the application directory. You may like to take a look at this article.

Quoting from the OP mail.example.com, do I have to add this name to both A and PTR records. That is also part of what the OP is trying to find out right?

Yes, he would need a PTR for the reverse check. But does the domain in the forward lookup need to match the reverse exactly? i.e. is matching example.com sufficient enough for the mail to pass SPAM check using FCrDNS or does the mail/server1.example.com need to be added to the A record?

OP says his server hostname is server1.example.com which is different from the envelope sender header mail.example.com. Won't the HELO/EHLO still be server1.example.com? And if A record already has a *.example.com, does he need to add anything there?

comment Why are some tcp packets with the RST flag classified as new incoming connection?
Thanks for clarifying the part on RST. As you can see from the above, my machine did not send any RST packet. This is done by the other party thrice. The first two are being recorded as NEW incoming. The last one seems to fall under established as it is not logged by iptables. Shouldn't the connection be purged immediately after both parties send FIN?

comment Router keep advertising itself on ipv6
Thanks for the info. There is nothing of that sort on ipv4. And it is basically useless to me since my ISP does not support ipv6 natively.

comment How to log php error in a separate file?
Nope, those are PHP errors, not general errors. And I did give it a full path instead of a relative path. And it used to work two years ago.
