comment bash watch command with colors preserved
Note that the version 3.3.2 is only available in procps-ng, original procps.sf.net seems development has stopped years ago (version is still 3.2.8 and watch version 0.2.0). Also note to OSX/Darwin users the new and maintained fork of procps-ng doesn't yet compile on OSX using LLVM (see github.com/Homebrew/homebrew/pull/20845).

This only works for the filesystem, while watch applies to a command

comment Ways to physically secure laptop that has no kensington lock
@CarlB Granted, I wanted to highlight the fact that this K-Slot adapter is almost permanent and that could be an issue. And I personally don't like this "hump". That being said I agree with you it's one of the best solution out there for securing the hardware. :)

Then how shall we remove it when reselling the laptop. It's great for security, but well not really a fantastic solution. I hope industrials will come with a solution !

comment How do I alias a Homebrew installed Ruby 1.9 gem binary in /usr/local/bin?
Actually even if the gem bin doesn't autocomplete, you can type it, it's in the path. You don't have to restart a terminal session.

comment Why is bash completion being loaded so slow on OS X?
I experience the same slowness and I'm using Homebrew.
