comment How to Force 0 show in excel cell for ROUNDDOWN?
I can't reproduce this either (again, assuming that ";" is regional due to "," being used elsewhere). It might be worth trying to set the Cell Format to number?

Thanks. I believe it also worked for 2007, but can't prove it at the moment.

comment Connect via Remote Desktop to machine connected to VPN
Do you have a fixed IP for your local machine, by any chance? Might be worth experimenting with fixed routes to that IP, depending on the exact VPN used.

comment Work from home VPN not safe on home router?
Actually, I'd give some points to the ideas behind what the IT chap was saying - firstly, if he connects his work PC to his home router, he's exposed to a bunch of home PCs, family, etc. Potential for infection, that can then traverse the VPN to the work network. Having said that, it's not much worse than connecting to a public Wi-Fi hotspot, but who wants to do that? It all depends on what you assume the IT guy is trying to prevent.

Have you tried accessing your Laptop via the IP address, instead of the hostname?

comment Wakeup PC upon mouse click but not mouse move
I don't think this will be possible (though I've not looked into it in a while), if I remember correctly most implementations deal with activity from the USB input in question - differentiating requiring more processing.

comment Is Windows 7 on a SSD slower if I use Windows integrated mirroring?
That'll be the best way to do it (weekly backup). Schedule "Create System Image" in Windows Backup and Restore - you can restore that image to a new SSD with pretty minimal hassle, and if you need anything from it in the meantime, it stores it as a VHD file (which you can mount in Win7-8 or browse in applications like 7zip).
