I am passionate about helping technology product teams to be successful. I am an active member of the Lean Startup and Kanban communities in the Bay Area, and I am excited about the pace of innovation that these methods and tools have enabled. I have significant hands-on experience developing a wide variety of web based products, and I am particularly adept at coaching engineers to do rapid, iterative development. I have a decade of experience with software process improvement, and I have led many teams of through product development life cycles. I do enjoy doing coding immensely, but I am open to technical project management and team leadership as well.

At work or in the community, I am committed to making the world a better and more livable place for all people. I have many years of experience as a community activist, and I am particularly interested in the intersection of open source and community organizing.
