The guy you see to the left. Electrical/electronics engineering student mostly doing embedded development. Linux user since '05.

You might want to check what I am up to on my blog (in Portuguese mostly), my Twitter or my GitHub, or my skills are available on LinkedIn. Alternatively, if you want to see what I'm listening to, check my last.fm or Spotify profiles.

If you have any doubt/problem about my questions/answers, comment on them.

I will always try to comment why did I downvote, and will remove those downvotes if questions/answers are subsequently improved.

comment Windows PC, Ubuntu installation: wubi vs native vs virtualized
@michal Yes, with this you can easily give 2 or 4 GB RAM to the VM which should be more than enough.

comment Make ZoneAlarm stop pausing my C programs when I run them
Don't use system("pause"), use getchar(). Or better, don't use any 'press any key...' commands: run your program from a proper CMD.EXE box.

Exactly: it would be unprofitable for manufacturers to make those small devices.

comment Turning 4 GB SD card into 2 GB SD (for AKAI MPC 2000xl)
You could partition the device into two partitions of 2 GB each. But I don't know how the device will cope with that (some devices will only see the first partition; others might reject the card).

Virus scan, root kit scan and Memtest (the corrupted display points towards a memory problem).
