comment Windows RAM Test Program
@Ngu Soon Hui: Listen to @CJM. You have to reboot to test all your RAM. Run a few (or even 5 or 6) passes of MemTest86+ overnight to thoroughly test your RAM. It's worth the minor "hassle" of rebooting. I do this every time i install new RAM.

comment Why every OS still can't resume file transferring?
@Cawas: Diago made this CW at Feb 18 at 3:04. I would guess he did so because there's no "right" answer. You're asking something that's more of a discussion, which means it should be Community Wiki. You can still start a bounty to get more answers, but up/downvotes here now have no effect on posters' rep.

comment Why doesn't mail that I send from Mail.app on my mac show up on my iPhone's Sent Mail when using gmail?
@Mike: @Kio is right. Both your phone and your mac should store sent mail on the server, and that's how they'll stay in sync. Also, don't store them in your inbox, store them in "Sent" as Kio described. ("Use this mailbox for > Sent)

comment Why every OS still can't resume file transferring?
Really? I don't agree. What if I'm coping a 4.7 GB DVD image to a network share and 75% of the way through I lose my net connection? Wouldn't it be much faster to just copy the remaining 25%?

comment Why is VMWare Workstation so slow on Linux?
@calico-cat: You can change the amount of RAM in the virtual machine's settings. I believe @baumgart is right, it sounds like your machine is swapping. How much RAM does the physical host have? What is your iowait% in Fedora when running XP?

comment Opposite of IE Tab / Mozilla rendering for IE
@Molly, Yeah, I guess I was hoping for a plugin which actually included the Mozilla rendering engine inside the plugin code, not one dynamically linked with firefox...

comment Opposite of IE Tab / Mozilla rendering for IE
Looks nice, but the idea is, many users don't want to install Firefox. So asking them to install Lunascape would probably be just as difficult. I was hoping asking them to install a plugin would go down a little easier...

comment Opposite of IE Tab / Mozilla rendering for IE
Ok, that's pretty cool. This particular application uses an older version of TinyMCE which isn't compatible with KHTML, but if we can overcome that hurdle, this looks very promising. Thanks!

@Kenneth Cochran: That's exactly what I was meaning. Firefox is open source so it conceivably could be done...

It does and it works great. But it won't solve his issue. @Geoff Fritz's answer is correct
