Japanese IME on Windows: switch back to romaji input method Alt+` toggles between alphabetic and hiragana input mode, not between direct-kana. There is a little button on the language bar reading [kana] which is only visible in the 'restored' state (not in the start bar) which you should depress to get rid of it. I'm still looking for the key combination for this button as it often turns on apparently by itself and it is very irritating top keep restoring and re-docking it the langauage bar. |

Audio starts to periodically skip It finally happened to me again. It took more than a month, the longest time I've seen so far. This tool worked, although I didn't strictly need it as I can hear the skips in the audio. After spending 30 minutes disabling/enabling service and devices, it turned out to be either of my network adapters. Re-enabling didn't bring the glitch back. Thanks. |

How do I restore a dialog window when neither a taskbar button nor systray icon available? @Jeremy Thompson: Although your solution didn't work in my case, it is the general and best solution to the question stated in my title. If you make it an answer I'll mark that one as correct instead. |

How do I restore a dialog window when neither a taskbar button nor systray icon available? And then I found it the solution. I found a little Windows 3.11-style minimized window in the lower left of the screen just above the start button, when I have photoshop on top. |

How do I restore a dialog window when neither a taskbar button nor systray icon available? Furthermore, launching a second photoshop and trying to access TWAIN gives me an error that it is unavailable at the moment. |

How do I restore a dialog window when neither a taskbar button nor systray icon available? I used Process Explorer, and sadly the TWAIN window doesn't show up as a process. It is simply a thread in Photoshop. And again, I'm positive the TWAIN window isn't closed, as when I thought I had given up and I wanted to close photoshop, it complained that a TWAIN acquire session is still running. |

How do I lower the hardware volume? (volume too high) Already tried. All sliders (speaker volume, device volume and master volume) are linked and move simultaneously when I drag one. Setting desktop speakers or headphones doesn't change anything. |
