What is the '+' at the end of long listing format? I should have mentioned that I am runnig OSX, which seems not to have setfacl or getfacl. Instead the chmod -N does fix the problem and removes the ACL; although that works only if you login as root and sudo does not work... |

What is the + at the end of Unix permissions in a long listing format? actually the -N in chmod is invisible to all users (including sudoers for the exception of 'root' user...

What is the + at the end of Unix permissions in a long listing format? You're right that it's related to ACL. But i'm running Mac OS X 10.6 and getfacl or setfacl are not available (as well as chmod -N)... |
