I enjoy web development and programming. My favorite languages are Ruby, C#, and CoffeeScript. I got my B.S. and Master's in computer science from the University of Kentucky.

I enjoy reading—most recently the Kingkiller Chronicles by Patrick Rothfuss—and playing video games such as Skyrim and Animal Crossing: New Leaf.

I work at CirrusMio in Lexington, KY. You can find me on Github and Twitter.

comment How to recover a VMware virtual machine
This worked for me. Host OS is Windows 7 64-bit, guest OS is Windows Server 2008. I couldn't kill all the VMWare processes in task manager, so I just restarted, and then I was able to open the VM fine.

comment keyboard shortcut in Windows 7 to center window
Looks like with 3 clicks of the middle button in WinSplit's window causes my focused window to stretch and fill the whole height of the monitor, which is fine, and be centered horizontally. :)

comment keyboard shortcut in Windows 7 to center window
@wbeard52: I just tried Win-Left repeatedly and it cycled through 50% on left side of screen, 50% on right side of screen, and how my window originally was (not centered, small).

That didn't seem to do it for me. It looks like it minimizes my window, or restores it if the window is maximized.

comment Can't delete folder in Windows 7
Haha, I remember creating a ton of nested directories one time in Windows to mess with a friend, then I couldn't delete them from Windows. I think I ended up doing it in Linux.
