comment analyizing why wifi / internet connection is slow
When you say "What technology are you using exactly?" - am i correct in thinking your referring to router / modem, rather than devices. We are using a BT 2wire 2700hgv (which is supplied by the network BT) - although ive also got a netgear range max dgnd3300v2 which i could use if it helped

thanks ill check this out next time im connected to that router and let you know, the other option is that i might connect a netgear router coming out of our combi modem/router and get everyone to connect to that as that has more advanced blocking features.

@Ashtray - Just tried it now as well as adding http://twitter.com, same problem still goes through i think it may have something to do with the fact that it redirects to https://twitter.com although that is blocked also

comment Speeding up ping
You mentioned torrents, we run Google Drive quite extensively (which i suppose is a long stream but not very wide) and we also sync between machines using dropbox do you think either of those could be causing the problem ?

comment Second wifi router for internal LAN file transfer - freeing up main internet wifi signal
Most of the machines are laptops and are taken home at night, taken to meets or moved around the office, its also quite a pain to run have lots of cables running around, as we dont have a raised floor.

comment Merging two incoming broadband lines for faster internet
Thanks - when you say 'you cannot achieve 20Mbps of speed' so if i load balanced as you described using something like this HERE Would that mean we can have two people connecting both using the full 10mbps download each, but neither one could use the full 20mbps.

comment See all past comand line activity / records
Thanks @Scott, this shows all the inputted commands, is there a way to get these with a timestamp so you can see when they were done, Is there also a more detailed command which would show the full CL interaction, ie. user inputs and the machines outputs.
