comment Why is my batch file doing nothing for 46 seconds before a forced quitting?
@Bob I am uploading a video to YouTube right now showing you what it is doing or not doing. Please watch it (hopefully not too laggy as i used a worse codec than usual to save on memory) The video is at youtu.be/Wr5NjohUcas

@Bob ok, i've fixed that thanks, looks much more neat! It still waits the same amount of time. I don't think it is start.bat holding it up because it only takes 1 second to complete its cycle and then quits so nothing there i dont think... maybe its the way i've called it?

comment Trying to hide a folder and unhide it in the same batch file with the attrib command
But this worked, 'Set _Path=C:\foldername For /F "Delims=" %%I In ('Attrib "%_Path%"') Do Set _Attribs=%%I If "%_Attribs:~4,1%"=="H" ( Attrib -S -H "%_Path%" Attrib /D /S -S -H "%_Path%"*.* ) Else ( Attrib +S +H "%_Path%" Attrib /D /S +S +H "%_Path%"*.* )'

comment Trying to hide a folder and unhide it in the same batch file with the attrib command
I want it to detect if it is hidden or not and if it is hidden, unhide it and vice versa. I dont want to leave the command window up. I want it to complete its command and then when i want to, start the batch file again to do the opposite of what it just did.
