comment Monitor reset itself and now I can't set the resolution/settings back to how it was before
Your monitors resolution is 1920x1080 according to the manufacturers website. If it is not set at the maximum resolution, of course you will see a poor quality picture. Do you have another computer or laptop to test it on if this is not the problem? What is your resolution currently set at in Windows 7?

If the OSD settings reset, it is not a Windows error. It sounds to me like your monitor is dying. If you're getting picture fragmentation, have you tested the monitor on another computer or with a different graphics card?

comment Is there a time machine equivalent for windows that can back up network files?
According to the features for the latest version, it does delete old backups: "The program can now automatically delete old files". I'd personally advise against using Acronis products, as i've always found them to be terrible.

comment Windows 7 installation on SSD - space issue
How much RAM does your PC have? Windows 7 caches your system up to the total quantity of your RAM (so 8gb system file if you have 8gb of RAM) for hibernation. Lookup how to disable hyberfil.sys, which should free you up some space.

comment New BIOS image for RAID controller?
Having Googled around a bit, i'm inclined to say you're out of luck on this one. Given how little they cost (some listed for as little as £5 on ebay), i'd go ahead and order a replacement instead.

What makes you think the firmware is corrupt? I only ask because that's EXTREMELY unusual.

comment No computers on my network can access my website
The domain was NOT recently renewed. Last updated just means the changes to the DNS or registration info. As you can see it is a January renewal, not a July one.

You can probably still access your email via the IP, or your order system as well. You could also always just purchase vpn or proxy access for a day if you need to!

If you can access via IP, then it is certainly a DNS issue. it might not necessarily be your ISP - it's also possible that your DNS zones are not configured correctly, which would lead to some people being able to access the site and others not. I'd wait another day though before you take it any further.

It is possible that the DNS is still propagating if it was only reset yesterday. Some ISP's are notoriously slow (I have heard of waiting times of up to 72 hours to access some websites - not great if you're a business!) Alternatively...I had a similar problem with all of my websites on my dedicated server a few years ago. It turned out that it was my server blocking my IP due to excessive FTP requests etc. All I did was add an exception for my IP. Perhaps it's worth contacting your host to check your IP hasn't been blacklisted?

comment Windows XP started lagging, sounds are crazy
Have you considered actually testing your hard drives performance, rather than just checking for bad blocks? Also, have you checked the event logs for any clues?

comment After set up local network through router internet is slow
Traffic shaping can adversely affect your connection for the duration of an entire billing period, it does not necessarily have to happen at the same time as you are downloading. I.e. they often limit your connection all the time if they believe you are torrenting.

It is possible your ISP is using traffic shaping because of your torrenting (it is extremely common now). Use this website to test both HTTP and Torrent protocols for traffic shaping: broadband.mpi-sws.org/transparency/bttest.php
